First you will need to find the name of the port that your printer is attached to.
Step 1 Log into the Web-based management of your print server by opening a web browser such as Internet Explorer and typing 192.168.0.10 into the address bar. Click on the Configuration tab. Write down the port names listed (IE PS-123A45-U3).
Step 2 Go to Start > Settings > Printers and double-click the Add Printer icon to open the Add Printer Wizard.
Step 3 Select Local Printer and click Next.
Step 4 Select Create a New Port and choose Standard TCP/IP Port from the drop-down menu and click Next.
Step 5 This will bring up the Add Standard TCP/IP Printer Port Wizard. Click Next.
Step 6 Enter the IP address of the print server and the port name that you wrote down (if use more than one printer port name is not like other port), click Next.
Step 7 The next window will prompt you for the Device Type. Select the Custom and Click Settings
Step 8 Change Protocol to LPR
Step 9 LPR Settings. Enter Queue Name to Printer port name (LPT1, LPT2 or USB). Click OK.
Step 10 Click Next.
Step 11 Click Finish.
Step 12 If you find your printer in the list, select it by clicking on it and then click OK.
Step 13 Once the drivers have been installed, click Finish to complete the installation.
Step 14 After the drivers have been installed for your printer, you will be prompted to print a test page. Click on Yes. Your test page will print out.
Your printer is now installed.
